The Coquitlam Celebration Choir was founded as a performance group and a community service project in October, 2010 by choral director Amy Stephen. As of summer 2016, the choir is under the direction of Jonathan Wiltse. Each term, our music is centered around a theme, ranging from themes of the sea or love, to Canadian content, James Bond movie themes, and Coldplay. Profits from all performances are donated to local non-profit service charities.
Our choir currently has 30+ members, and will begin our FALL 2025 Term IN PERSON on Tuesday September 9, 2025. Rehearsals are at St. Laurence Anglican Church (825 St. Laurence Street, Coquitlam - just off Como Lake Road). Fall 2025 will run for 17 rehearsals, from Tuesday September 9th - November 25th, 2025. and then from Tuesday January 6th 2026 - Feb 3rd, 2026. The WINTER 2026 concert date is Saturday February 7th, 2026.
